Vegetable cutlets are traditional & tasty evening snacks. I was trying to make them in the traditional Oven. It came out very well; These yummy cutlets can be used as Burger patti to make it ‘to go’ !!!!
Here is the recipe.
Ingredients
Boiled Potatoes (Medium Size) – 3
boiled Vegetables(Carrot,beans , peas) – 1 cup
Chopped Ginger – 1/2 T.Spoon
Cumin Seeds – 1 T.Spoon
Salt to taste
Finely chopped Coriander leaves – 1/2 cup
All purpose flour – 3 T.Spoons
Plain Bread Crumbs – 1 cup
Cooking Oil – 3 T.Spoons
Water 1/4 cup
Method
Drain the boiled vegetables and dry them with paper towels…add this with the mashed potatoes,mix well..Add the cumin seeds,ginger, coriander leaves, salt with the vegetable mix and knead everything together.Make the cutlets of your desired shape.
Add little water to the maitha and make a batter…batter should be watery.
Now dip the cutlets in all purpose flour batter and roll them well in bread crumbs…arrange them in a baking tray and sprinkle some cooking oil on the cutlets.
Preheat the Oven in 350 degree Fahrenheit..bake the cutlets for 20 minutes…change the mode to broil and broil them for 20 minutes…every 1o minutes take the plate from the Oven and flip the cutlets, sprinkle some oil.
Crunchy cutlets are ready!! Serve the cutlets with Green chutney / Ketch up.
